High School:  I graduated from Olive Branch High School.

College: I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Memphis and completed the Teach Mississippi Institute program at Ole Miss.

Experience

This is my 14th year working for Desoto County Schools.  I taught at Center Hill Middle for the first three years and then Southaven Middle.    

Bio

I graduated from Olive Branch High School.  I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from The University of Memphis.  I went through the Teach Mississippi Institute through Ole Miss to obtain a license to teach language arts.  I've been teaching in Desoto County for 14 years.  I taught at Center Hill Middle School for the first three years then Southaven Middle. 

I love to read!  My favorite book series of all time is the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.  I try to read a lot of the young adult novels so that I can recommend lots of books to my students!  I also love cheerleading, SEC football (go State!), snow skiing, New Zealand, and Disney World.
